Repainting Interior Panels

Right now im in the process of repainting my interior panels. the stock color of them was brown so that had to go. the panels were also badly faded in some spots so i decided to repaint them. i am repainting them gloss black to repaint them i used krylon fusion paint. the paint is kinda a pain in the a** to use. for most of the cans i had to stop every once in a while to push the nozzle back down because no paint would spray out and if you pressed it really hard pain would splatter everywhere. other than that it made my panels look pretty good tommorow i still have to paint the door sills and go over a couple of pieces again. i will probably be able to get some pics up tommorow too.
if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Mike

I had that problem spraying with the Fusion paint. I think they need to redesign that paint nossle.

I'd love to see some pics. Is there still no gray in the Fusion line? I need to re-do my pannels before installing a new interior. Is there any other paint that works as well as Fusion? My cousin used some Krylon Fusion, and the nozzle got all crapped up. Good paint, bad nozzle.

Nope still no grey in the Fusion line that I have ever found. However if you just have nasty looking plastics that aren't really faded or scratched that much you can use a product called Marine Clean off of the POR-15 site. It has made all my plastics except the two broken ones I have look like new.

I did paint a couple pieces I had extra with the Krylon Fusion paint. The results were really good except for the fact that the nozzle makes it hard to get an even coat. I wish they would just sell it in a bottle so you could use it in your own paint rig.
