Most people use duplicolor vinyl and fabric spray, but apparently that doesnt adhere to the seats very well.
Maybe go to GM dealership and ask them what they would use?

I've duplicolored my leather seats. It worked pretty well, but now after a few months, I can tell I am going to need another coat here sometime.

Wow... that looks good. I'd be interrested in seeing how well the rattle can holds up on the leather. I used SEM paint on my leather shift boot and so far I'm quite impressed with how well it held up.
I'm also keeping an eye on this thread because I have a pair of "neutral" colored 4th gen seats that don't match anything worth a damn, so I'd like to die them black and throw them into my Jimmy.

I was actually very surpised how well the seats turned out. They held up pretty well after the last few months. I am seriously considering doing the entire seat. The color doesn't match exactly, but its pretty close. I am now noticing a little wear in the cracks in the leather. The red is showing through.
One of these days I am going to buy a few cans of the stuff. The secret is in the prep of the leather and the lightness of the coats. The paint seems to run pretty easy, so the more light coats, the better.

I once had a set of tan & later a pair of front grey gta seats(both cloth)dyed them black.I used RIT dye i bought at sav-on(local drug store in cali). It required removal of the seat covers & about 4-6 bags of rit dye.Worked really good the more you use the darker the seats will turn out.Now ive got 97 trans am leather seats dyed them black too, were graphite.Used SEM dye from a spray can. Also worked great going on 5 years with that & only needed to retouch them once.
