There are a couple of those fake nuts on the underside that you have to remove in order to take them out. Don't know the part number, but I'm sure your dealer does.

I tried to take my hood grills out too but there was a problem. First of all u need a 16mm deep socket to take dat fake nut out. but the problem is that there are some other fake nuts on top of some metal. u have to drill in order to get to those. i didn't want to do that so i just left them on there. OH WELL!!!! Good luck with ur grills!!!!!!!

I wonder how a powder coated billet style grill would look? Or a mesh style. Might be a nice little appearance thing to try if yours are broken. Might be worth a look.

Heres what I know about mine. I just broke one of the tabs on the front grill to get it loose ( I had become frustrated!!).
My screens are not plastic they are what seems to be alum. or some type of stainless (dunno).
The grills themselves are plastic though.

Here's some P/N's though... I've got a friend at a dealership that gives the drawings I want with all the gm numbers.

Front Vents:
Driver side grille: 10030567 $17.30ea
Pass side grille: 10030566 $17.30ea

Driver side screen: 10030569 $N/A
Pass side screen: 10030568 $N/A

Rear Vents:
Driver side Vent & Screen: 10030565 $14.43ea
Pass side Vent & Screen: 10030564 $14.43ea

Prices were obtained from GMPartsDirect.com.The screens were not found but I know they still make them.

Hope this helps
