functional hood vents?

functional hood vents?



i have the same hood and was wondering if anyone has ever made it functional like in the pic?? If so what was involved to do this?

Anything is possible with a little time and a little or alot of money. It would be cool to see them made functional. I would think that it would be hard to route the hose or ducts as they are so far back. At least on a fuel injected car. With a carb I would think it would be easier. Then you could use something like the 1982 crossfire Trans-AMs had.

i plan on doiing that but the only thing stopping me is my hood is fibreglass off an 82 and they are hard to come by around here so i dont wanna mess it all up
