So which cowl hood should I get?
Alright guys, I have finally run out of hood clearance and have opted for a 3" glass cowl. After doing multiple searches, I have come to the conclusion they all suck as far as fit goes
I was really looking at the harwood 3" as I like the way it conforms to the windshield. I looked at the one from cervani (I know I missed spelled it, it's the company that makes many mustang body parts), but I don't really like how the center of the cowl is rounded as opposed to edged like most cowls.
I would really like to go with the SS hood, but I don't think the 2" height is tall enough.
Unfortuantly I'm short on time as well (in the process of moving, need hood now), so I'll probably end up going with the harwood unless someone can point me in a better direction. Thank you in advance

could fab up your own from your current hood. Thats what I'm gonna try to do. a 1 inch cowl following the hood lines (not thin like normal cowls)

you could go that route, buy the scoop and put it onto your current hood. for aftermarket, i've heard bad things about harwood, but i've heard cervini is top notch. i think you can also get them from usbody.com and up22.com.

Yeah a buddy of mine got a Ram air hood from cervini. It was part #114 I believe, damn nice looking hood, too bad he couldn't find something with those side vents tho.

I like the low and sleek ones, like on maniacc's car (2" Glasstek)

I agree with MetalliCamaroRS, if I still had my RS that's definitely the hood I would go for. And as Error404 has in his sig....sometimes less is more.

The Yellow Camaro is a hood from Cervini. Its Part #114. Cost of $399, It's fiberglass, with 3" ram I believe

Go there and DL the Catalog, Scroll to the bottom, the hood is down there

I have the harwood 4" hood and I am 100% pleased with it. I have to do some glass work to it now because it fell out of a storage shelf and the passengers corner seperated from the back. I thaught more was going to go bad with it but it help up pretty good for a 10 foot drop onto a corner. Fits nice and looks great IMO.
