Wipers
I'm not sure if this is the right forum so I apologize ahead of time. Its getting close to that time where it might start to rain and one of my wipers doesn't work correctly. My drivers side wiper works fine, but the passenger side doesn't seem to hit the glass...it wipes the very bottom when the wiper starts, but when it completes the sweep it doesn't wipe anything off. How can I adjust that?

I thought that is what it might have been when I had first noticed the problem so I replaced the blades...so it isn't that because it still does it.
nah.. i meant the blade, but ya.. try the arm.. OR.. bend it around a bit.
mine on my driver side got bent up, and actually scratched my glass, :-(.. it might of done the reverse on your car and just not letting it whipe right.

A few more 'could be's' is that the tension spring has broken (white arrows) or the arm could be hung on the retainer or the retainer is broken (aqua arrow).

How do you get the entire arm off? The pass side arm on my F-body don't hit the lower stop and I was hoping I could remove the arm and slide it down a couple of notches on the drive head...

Notice in my picture, directly above the aqua arrow, there is a small tab, this is visable from the top (will be facing towards the motor or, bottom side of the arm). Using a flat screwdriver (definatly don't try to use your fingernail
), pry it outward. This is the retainer that holds the arm to the wiper armature (I guess that's what you'd call it anyways). Wiggle the arm while pulling up on it and it should pop off. If it stubborn, you can pry on it gently.
The wiper arm itself, where it's attached to the mechanical assembly, is non-adjustable up, down, left or right for both drivers and passenger sides.

You see, my wiper is like this: the wiper sticks up above the line of the hood and in the line of sight. I believe that the drive head is splined to that the arm can be adjusted to a different angle when turned off, or am I wrong? The only manual I have only goes to 1981 at the latest...

Ha.. you caught me
You'd think I would have noticed that when I popped my wiper arm off to take that pic, huh ? There is a small amount of adjustibility on the pass side arm. (it's just the drivers side that you can't to squat with). It is splined and appears to give a few inches (on the outmost point of the arm) from stop to stop points.

Thanks guys for all the help I'm gonna check it out this weekend when I have some time. I'm surprised I didn't get an e-mail saying I had so many responses, but find it odd that I'll randomly get an e-mail for a thread that is over a month old =/
One more question where would be the best place to get a new wiper arm? Thanks guys
