I just bought an 88 Iroc Convertible (Red with Black Top, 305 TPI Auto). The emblem on the passenger side rear bumper is missing. What is suppose to be there?

 

umm i belive that one is the iroc or z28 what ever is on the side rocker panels, and the left side is the tuned port emblem.

 

I have silver IROC emblem on the rocker panels. What color are the emblems suppose be to be on a red IROC? It appears that the IROC emblems only come in Red or Gold? How about the Tuned Port Injection Emblem?

Can anyone post a pic of the back of a Red 88 Iroc so I know what it's suppose to look like?

In 88, both rockers and the right side of the bumper should all be "IROC-Z". Colors are red,gold,or silver. IF your rockers are silver, the bumper should be too.

....and the tuned port emblem is silver too.

 

Any ideas where I can get these emblems in Silver? I tried Third Gen Resource and Hawks but they don't carrry the silver - just the red and gold.

The classicindustries.com catalog is very impressie. Unfortunately, they only carry the rear IROC emblem in Red

Anyone else have any ideas? I hate to think I will have to wait on Ebay.......

All my emblems are gold, and yeah, I had to use Ebay for my bumper emblem. The silver was easily the most common, and should be the easiest to find...don't know why the AF companies don't have it...but sure enough, they don't. Ebay can be your friend.

Thirdgens are in that stage where GM is dropping parts, and the aftermarket hasn't caught up yet.
