late-model seat belt compatibility
I am curious as to whether the front seat belts from a new camaro would bolt into a thirdgen with no problems. Thanks!

There is a little bit of difference. Here is the tech article i used to do mine. https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/t...genbelts.shtml
Pretty much just do what iit says and it will work out fine it took me probably like 20 or 30 minutes to do.

3.1EyeCandy, that's good to hear. I've been thinking that I should mount three handles on each side of my car, as much faith as I have in the stock belts. Even if the ratchets lock when they're supposed to, and I don't submarine into the foot well, I imagine that cool plastic hoop on the side of the seat breaking off and letting the shoulder belt go completely slack.
It sounds like you got to try yours out and lived to tell about it -- how'd it go? Would you change anything now (like that stupid plastic hoop thing, or eliminating the ratchet tensioners)?
