Pull the headliner. The holes are there for the plastic mounts already. All you have to do is screw the old console mounts into the existing holes. Then, you will have to cut the holes in the headliner to clear those mounts... There's a little bit of rewiring to do too since the console has a map light and an entrance light... It's not to difficult.

i got a roof console out of an 87 GTA and it only had 2 wires just like my dome light. i only had to cut the ends off and splice the wires together and it worked perfect.

if u search, or just read a page or 2 back someone asked that question and its explained very well. basicly. take off the a piller trim, the trim near the hatch that holds up the headliner, the dome light, and the seat belt clips (careful those break easily, pull them straight out) then slide your headliner left IIRC and it will up clip its self from the roof. careful the seat belt doesnt rip the fiberglass. now that u got the headliner out of the way ull see some holes going down the center bar. theres 6 total that u use. 2 inside the dome light, and 2 in the middle that the console slides over, and 2 at the front that it slides over. pretty much any screw will work as long as its no longer than 1/2". now measure where u need to cut the holes in your headliner, or just stick it up there and cut holes where need be. but the headliner back in and all the trim and the console up. your done..except for wiring. which i never got mine to work exactly right.

I made a template out of cardboard and cut the holes with the headliner in place (cut X's in the cloth so that you can tuck the ends under the headliner).

Should you be unaware of the differences in coupe and t-top consoles, note this link:
