90-92 GFX (not fbrglass) repair?

I have a ground effects set from a 90 RS. Most of it is fine except on the front lower part. On the corner it is torn/cracked 80% of the way from top to bottom.

Is this repairable? If it is, how so?

'90 GFX are the same as '85-89. The ones with scoops in them is '91-92.

I recntly had mine completely messed up on an otherwise great looking car. A crack goign through about 90% of it, cept form the bottom up, only held on by a small strip of fiber. I am gonna glue a big paint stick in behidn it to hold it together and temporarily mount it back in place until I get around to doing all my body work, which includes replacing the GFX.

For yours, I would just replace it with one from a junkyard.

You can get plastic epoxies to fit it. notch a v in the back so you get good adheasion and fill it. sand it flush and make sure you scuff it. They so a fiberglass leyup over the back for extra strength.

they are not fiberglass. they're be smc (sheet molded compound) and fiberglass wont adhere to it as good as if it were fiberglass. 3m makes some smc repair 2- part epoxies check their site
