Building Super Street IROC-Z

I own a 1988 Camaro IROC-Z T-Tops. And I am planning on turning into a Super Street car. I will prob be dropping in a 383, supercharged and nitrous.

The car is currently completely stripped. I am wondering what things I should do & have to do to make this car go as fast as possible. I have a 12-point cage & sub frame connectoprs ready to install, want to reduce weight before I weld in. I am also running plexi front & rear windows, and lots of fibreglass parts.

front and rear bumpers can be removed and preferably replaced with some tubing (chrome moly if you can afford it)

When you say "Super Street", are you referring to NHRA super street (10.90 index class), or do you mean one of the heads up street series run in the NMCA and the like?

Just local drag for now. But what I mean in, basically a Darg car with so many hi-perf parts & speed, to the point where its almost illegal to drive on the road.

Look at the post trimming the fat. I posted some weight saving things we did to my car, and things done to my dad's car in there.
. Beware, everybody seemed to think that the ideas were to unsafe for them. I guess it just depends on what you feel safe with. My dad andI am not worried about mine or my dad's car, but thats just us .
