How do I get behind the gauges?

Hi, this is related to my other post below, about fixing my non-working gauges.

Well, today I went in to take everything out and got as far as getting all the gauges out except the speedo, it seems a bit more difficult. It doesnt have the scews on the top holding it down like the others, so how do I get it out.

And then after I get it out, how do I get behind the white plastic that the gauges mount to, the one with all the little light bulbs on it?

Thanks.

Cool, look what I found....

So I guess what I am trying to get to is the circuit board, No. 3. But the farthest I have gotten to is getting all gauges but the speedo out. I dont see how that one comes out and I definitely can't see how the white case, No. 4, comes out. There don't seem to be any screws holding it in

Thanks.

If you have a cable speedo, this is how u can pull it out, after you have everything else out, except the speedo, lay across ur front seat, if still in, with ur head to the right of the steering wheel, look just behind the plastic panel and u should see the cable going into the cluster, all u need is a flat long screw driver, put the screwdriver against the cable, you should see kinda a metal sheath there will be a little tiny bent on an angle piece of metal, super thin, just pry it back (it sits in a groove) and pull on the dash. Sorry its just a little hard to explain. maybe someone can pull up some pics??

As for part two getting the cluster out, I did this with the steering wheel still in, but it sure makes it hard to get it out, there is a group of cables that goes into the cluster on the bottom right, minus the screws and the speedo, it will come right out, this would be a good time to replace any bulbs and clean up that "wiring". Also if you have replaced the engine, and havn't cleaned up some wires, pull out the "service engine soon" blub, it just gets annoying
