Options w/ Corbeau seat brackets

What are my options?

I could use their sliders (which I don't really need with a fixed back seat), which will raise the seat up 1-2" (according to other posts), and I don't want that happening. They also look like they only lock on one side from the picture, which isn't NHRA legal.

What else could I use? Do they sell fixed brackets? I'm not up to fabbing my own. I don't want the seat to be raised up, and sliding isn't a big deal for me.

OK, I looked in summit, and they have fixed brackets for their seats, but they look like they don't allow the seat to be moved back. (I have the stock seats as far back as I can) Has anybody drilled new holes in these so that the seat can be moved back?

I dunno, they look pretty flimsy too...

they do look flimsy... why not have like a metal shop guy fab you up some? just, like.. cut cut cut,.. weld weld weld, screw hole, bolt bolt bolt bolt, done.... and that's about how many processes it'd take for each, lol.

in fl too, orlando. & as far as car clubs go, sorry, i havn't heard of any, closest thing to it is my friends & i that all have 3rd gens go out every friday and saturday. we go to old town, if you know where that's at, and then over to colonial and south i4.. and some other places.

anyways, ya.. with the seats,,.. they are cool, but, first off, corbeau are way too expensive, ... once i get a cage(cuz i won't change seat w/o cage, i have my reasons, seatbels mainly, the safty of it..) imma get tenzo R racing seats... they look like they'd suck you into the seat like you won't believe, and be very comfee.. and only about 315 for one, or 2 something for one.. pretty inexpensive... might be way less than that, cna't remember.

i put a 4thgen cr1 with sliders in my car and it was lower then the stock 4thgen leather seats and sliders i had in it. i was told that the the thirdgen slider is the same part number.

either way i ordered a set of trs and sliders which should be here and in the car by the weekend so i'll have a better answer for you if you email me.
