91 RS Dash or 89 IROC dash?

I have a 91 RS,I just bought an89 IROC,gonna swap complete drivetrain/interior from 89 into the RS.
What are your thoughts on the Gauge clusters?
Neither Speedo is in working condition,89 is 145mph tho
Any thoughts/opinions,Idea's will be appreciated(I think!)
Thx Steve

The clusters work completely diffrent. The 91 Cluster is all electronic. The IROC has a mechanical spedometer and tach I believe. Unless you are compeletly changing all the wiring and swaping from one car to the other you are going to be doing a lot of fabrication.

If I'm not mistaken,I believe 89 was first year for the electric speedo, either way,The 89 is actually more complete(original) than the 91.
In the 91 the previous owner pulled out factory radio(hack job),and some crappy alarm/remote start was installed at Best Buy,They totally butchered The harness under the dash

I'd say keep the 91 dash I've allways liked them better. The lines flow so much better than the older style dashes.

To un-confuse yourself, just get a 90-92 wiring harness and computer, drop the iroc motor in and all will be well.
