I did a search already,heres my problem,I have a Hardtop,with map light mirror,I have an orage and a white wire running to dome light,I have 3 wires running to mirror,orange,whiteand a black
Now my problem is,Overhead console has 4 wires,orange,white,black,and a Purple one
anyone know what the purple one is?
Any help would be appreciated very much,Thx all

Anyways,i guess iI wire black to ground,white to white,Purple and orange to the Orange

when u do it like u said u cant use the map light by its self, u have to turn the dimmer to dome position to get it to come on.

 

LOL,that figures,I have a hard time changing a light bulb right,
I welded in new floor pans,swapped motors,but when it comes to ANYTHING from the firewall back,I'm lost

 

if u havent done finished yet, run the purple wire to pwr accy on the fuse box, thats constant power so u can use the map light.
