please help

I just got done with a frustrating day of installing my new speakers. I pulled a box out of eack sail pannel so my speakers would clear. do you guys know what this box is and if it is okay tha i don't have them anymore. if you need pics let me know. hanks for any help.

im not sure what box u are talking about. Can u get a pic of it? Chances are it was a encloser for your old speakers, no u dont need it. I havent had a camaro with one yet.

It is an insulating box for your factory installed speakers. I have them on my car and have seen them in many cars in the boneyards.

lets say the infinity reference 6x9s with out the box sound infanently better than those stock speakers with the box. sinse i'm tired of screwing around wih fit issues they will stay out. thanks guys. you all rock.
