Dented fender
I need to get a picture, but heres what went down:
It was the first day of snow in Michigan for the season, and it was the first winter i attempeted to drive my car in. Well stupid me didn't put any weight in the back of the car like i should, and i was going about 15mph down the street in my sub, and i came to an S-turn, so i puch on the brakes, and my car starts to slide. I go up in a guys yard, and bent my rear rim on a sewer cap that was sticking about 2 inches above the ground, and my car went right UNDER a tree limb, but it bent and scratched the paint off the top of my driver side fender. Long story short, i was a dumbass, and now i need to know where to find a fender for really REALLY cheap. Any suggestions?

in my own experiense, fellow michigander, putting weight in the back does nothing.
I could be wrong here but I belvie that since the axle is so far forward the "trunk" area of the car that the weight dosnt do anything.
could be wrong here

Yeah, I put about 200 lbs in the back of my car, and I didn't notice a whole lot of difference either, but I did notice my rear end isn't fishtailing like crazy like it did, so I think it did help a LITTLE bit

umm... I'm in Sterling Heights - we had 50 degrees here, not snow... funny, we're only 6 miles away too :P
just takes experience my friend - been driving these cars in our winters for 14 years... #1 rule - make sure your tires are in good condition! weight is optional unless you need to balance out a big V8... (I fill my trunk with car repair supplies instead of dead weight)
