Where to buy Omni paint

Where do you guys who have used Omni paint buy it from? I'm looking to paint the 86 here in the next few months and am looking for the cheapest paint possible. (besides rattle can of course) Thats right... I don't care really if it looks that great, its a budget high school drag car for me, it just needs paint. I'm figuring on a single stage paint, because the car wont see that much sun or grime at all.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

BTW I was given a quote at a local autoshop of $113 for a gallon of Dupont Hugger Orange with metallic flake in it. Is this a good deal?

Omni paint is a two stage paint, base/clear. The PPG website has a list of dealers. The one around me quoted me $110 for certain colors and up to $220 for reds and yellows.

Alright, so it sounds like I'd be best off just going with the dupont paint at 113 since orange is between the higher priced red and yellow.

Go with the Dupont. With the Omni you will have a hard time blending if you ever need to do touch ups

I work at a auto parts store and mix omni all the time, there are two types of omni MBC - Basecoat clearcoat system, or MTK which is a single stage system and has the clear in it. I have sprayed my camaro twice in the past year not by choice but by people smacking into it or people backing into it, look at my post and when it was marroon I had to do spot repaires a couple of times, and it matched fine. and if you see my most recent post you'll see my car now copper w/white stripes. I love omni. it's cheep enoulf where if you mess up you won't kick yourself for spending a ton of $$ on higher paint if someone hits you of if something happens you cand just sand it out and start over. just my 2 cents. here's a pic of my car now. email me if you have anymore ??'s
