Aftermarket Wings!

Anyone have aftermarket wings installed on their 3rd Gen. I would really love to see some pics of after market wings installed on these cars. The OEM setup is nice and all...but I was always on the side of being different.

why would someone customizing their car cause hate. People are allowed to do stuff to their own ride to fit their own personality/taste. Its ok to not like a modification that someone else has done to their car however its not ok to disrespect that person for the work they have done. This topic was never created to start a flame war, it was created so I (and other members who are interested in these after market mods) could get a look at something a bit different. Thats all.

BTW TunedPort 335...that is a very nice spoiler. It kinda reminds me of the one on the Camaro sYc from 2 fast 2 furious...*** that made me mad when they trashed that car.

Car: Camaro of course
That 5inch is THE spoiler/wing for a Camaro. By the way does the 5inch spoiler car have those jap rims on it, I kinda like those things. I bet it would cost more to have them shipped here then they cost lol.

That 5 inch spoiler is available at Hawks. Check the top of the page for the banner.
No camaro came with a 5 inch spoiler, but rather a smaller version.
Thraxxx- I see you have a TA, you could put a 4th gen TA spoiler on your car, also available at Hawks. I would say the 4th gen spoiler would be your best bet. Also that camaro in 2fast2furious was a Yenko camaro, just for future reference.
goodluck finding a spoiler that you desire.

Calm down dude. This hasn't even come close to a flame war yet. Others were just making the point, because every time anybody does ask about this sort of stuff, opinions erupt. We all realize that you're free to do as you please with your car, but the majority of owners here just don't prefer the type of modifications that an awful lot of thirdgen owners decide to do. It's getting harder and harder to find a nice clean, unmolested thirdgen. Every one you find is either a clapped out heap that's been let go, or it's a 16 year-old's wet dream full of stickers and every cheap JC Whitney accessory he could afford. Because of how so many people feel, posts about big spoilers and similar additions aren't ever going to be met with much enthusiasm no matter how badly you may want it to be.

I understand where your comming from Jim85IROC. I don't plan on doing the "riced out look" with my TransAm. I just want to mainly clean it up and keep the original look until I can get some engine mods "or a new engine for that matter" to give me a few hundred more ponies and then I may want to drop a ram air hood on my T/A.

I understand the "keep it stock and clean" logic. Thats how it is at the other board I frequent. I am part of TempoTopaz.com as my daily driver is a Ford Tempo. OVer there they are all about keeping it stock and clean as well. Some times flamewars erupt over topics similar to this and I just can't figure out why.

I think I should have stated to people that I want to see creativity. I love seeing different ideas for cars. People who demonstrate creativity by adapting bodykits and such to a car that has no after market products deserve some serious props rather then be chewed out for their hard work and dedication to the art.

Sorry if I came off harsh in my previous post or in this one. I didn't mean no disrespect.

First lets get it strait in calling them spoilers, unless you are referring to a r*cey aluminum wing or what not. Second this is the Internet so people are going to be posting their opinions, like it or not. Just letting you know, this is an Camaro and Firebird/ Trans Am web site so dont be shocked that people start getting defensive when they hear you say "aftermarket wings". Oh and my opinion, please dont disgrace a F Body with a POS aluminum wing or anything else r*cey like that.

it's a custom blend, but not unlike a lot of different dark orange metallics that are available. It's not much different than GM's Sunset Orange Metallic.

I am really lovin the look of the touring spoiler on that bluish green Cardomain car. That looks hella sweet for sure.

Still waiting to see a TransAm or Firebird with an aftermarket spoiler.
