I have been bitten by the 4th gen interior bug. I want to update my '87 IROC to a new dash.

I've decided 10000% that I don't want a 93-96 Camaro dash. They look like hard plastic to me. That and I already have the '01 T/A center console.

I am debating between the 97+ Camaro dash and the 93+ Firebird dash. I'm hoping to find as new as possible.

Few questions.

The console I have is dark gray, Ebony I believe. Do the dashes come in that dark gray/black too?

Aside from Vent shape, is there any real difference between the 97+ Camaro and the Firebird dashes?

I did some searches but didn't find exactly what I was looking for. BTW: I came across Zephers post with his 4thgen dash install pics and it is a rats nest of wires... Is the switchover all THAT complicated or a lot of those wires just behind the dash, not part of it?

Just get whatever dash you think looks good.

Medium Gray was avilable fomr 97-02

Ebony was only available from 00-02


So... if you have Ebony, you wll be shopping for a 00-02 F-body in the junk pile.
