How did u make the cables long enough? do they have some give in them? And the shifter doesnt have to move over right, just back?

 

I recently tried to get some similar information out of them... but apparently, most people swap in the manual console regardless of what tranny they have.

 

i know, but i cant seem to find a manual plate and i already have a auto plate. Theres atleast 2 people that have swapped a auto console in.

 

You can just take out the auto plate and put in a leather shift boot. That is my plan, but of course, it is mad enecessary due to my Dual Gate shifter.

 

I used a 4th gen shifter to get to work . you will have to cut the metal out on the tranny tunnel. the 4th gen shifter will fit in the lower part on the tranny tunnel. you will have to make some new holes to mount the shifter. the cables will give to let the shifter move back. then you can use the auto plate(no leather boot).
