console for my 87 Formula..... HELP!
I am right in the middle of restoring my beloved 87 Formula.
I'm almost done with the body work, and soon i will start on interior.
My whole center console is cracked, warped, and even the button for the power widow will pop off every now and then. I want to replace the whole thing. Im not shure where to go. The junk yards around here don't have what i'm looking for.... they're torn up too.
I would go to the dealer..... but im afraid that the GM company would charge way too much for a new one.
Any one know how much they are? (excellent condition, of coarse)
Any one have an 87 Formula for parts with a great console? (reasonably priced?)

try one of our sponsors up top like thirdgen resource or hawks.
You might even try IROCDaves.
One of them should be able to help you out.
Might even try the classifieds here at thirdgen.

Thirdgen Resource at the top had them
Where in GA do you live Turner and Son in Banks co has like 8 birds in there lot. If you are not interested in keeping it orginal you can get a manual shift console out of a newer bird. I am trying to get one out of a 99-03 to put in my 89.

I was gonna ask if anyone knew of any good, legit online parts sources, too. I'm not looking for a console yet, though mine is also warping along the edges. But I found replacements on hawksthirdgen and also fbody...
Oops, I dunno what happened, lol. My page got put up half written.
Anyway, hawksthirdgen and fbodymotorsports had replacement consoles. I've found just about everything on those sites. Are they good sites to purchase from? Any recommendations for other sites?
My Formula is still all original, so I'd rather get original parts rather than reproductions.
