Lookin to buy a spray gun???
Hey guys i need a spray gun for when i paint my friends hood and was woundering whats a good/great gun for all around use. like paints and primers? also keep in mind im not goin to spend anything over $215 at the most (with out tax or shipping), this will be my first spray gun and i dont need the absoolute best out there. i was lookin at one at work for $99 but my boss said its garbage and would be a waste of money. so guys if ya can help me that would be cool. also the specs on my air compressor im pickin up tomarrow. 6hp vertical tank that can hold i think 33 gals of air, at 40psi it will put out 8.6cfm and at 90 psi it will put out like 6.5 cfm, its craftsmen also.
edit: i was just thinkin of maybe gettin the $99 one we carry at work just for doing primers and then gettin a good one for the painting. i get 20% off of things at work so that cheap one would be cheaper. also its a gravity feed gun and id like to find a good/great one thats gravity fed too, they just feel nicer.

Thought it's certaily not anything special or 'pro', the Sharpe Cobalt gravity feed HVLP is a good 'bang for the buck' paint gun. It doesn't give a showcar finish but, none do regardless of what you pay. Better guns just mean less finish detaling (colorsand/polishing) for the end result really. I paid $120 for mine and have used it on a few paint jobs aside from the never ending one on my 'bird.
There are much better guns out there but, they cost. For the general weekend warrier/painter, the Sharpe gun gets my vote.
