230 mph speedometer?

I was looking on ebay for a 145 mph speedo and I came across a 230mph speedometer! Was this a factory item or did somebody do a little custom fabrication? They say it came out of an 88 iroc. Anybody?

I never seen or heard of it as far as I know the biggest GM speedo available in the Iroc is the 145 but maybe there are some prototyps floating around who knows!

Ummm 90-92 Firehawk speedometer? *shrug*. I doubt it though, there are only like 26 of those ever made.

Are you sure it's not 230 KILOMETERS PER HOUR?? 145mph converted to KMH is roughly 230 so it's probably a Canadian speedo, and if so can you send me the link? I need a new speedo
