what would be involved in changing one out? I mean does it unbolt, or is it welded in? I have not paid any attention to how it attaches.

I'm guessing it's welded. You wouldn't want bolts to get loose or holes to englongate.

it is screwed in and is glued in, you can get it off but you will distory it in the processes. So I doubt you will find a used one in good shape.

I got a good one out of a junkyard... Jut pry GENTLY, use a puddy knife to seperate the glue...

There are the 4 screws you can see, then there are screws under the t-top seal... Unfortunately I have not been able to remove the gasket without destroying it, THUS you will need a new seal kit...

I bought some weather stripping repair glue so if i use that and some silicon ill eventually stop the leaks after i get the new pieces..i think

and no its not welded in..looks like its just screwed into the frame

anyone have a defenite name for this part? dont wanna look for the wrong thing

thanks guys!
