questions on replacing drivers side door

i got hit the other night and now my drivers side door is trash. i've been lookin for a door in the junk yards but it seems impossible to find the right one, 91-92...power windows, mirrors, and locks. can anyone give me any tips on how to solve this? right now it seems like i am going to have to buy a different year and the molding on the bottom from another car. also, how hard it is to replace the door pins?

You can get any 82-92 Camaro or Firebird door that has power windows and locks and just swap everything else over. If you can find one get a 88+ because the earlier ones seem less solid and rattle more. I have an 84 firebird passanger door and 89 RS drivers door on my 87 Z28.

As for the door pins I took my hinges of while painting my car and had some new pins and bushes made by a fabricator to remove the slop in the old pins.

$100 for both of em, but you would need to swap in all your power stuff which isn't the end of the world.
All the mounting for the power stuff should still be in there, they didn't make differant doors for power/non-power.

you can buy new pin & bushing kits at most parts stores. The top one is easy, the bottom is supposed to be more difficult from what I've heard

TDS, one of the sponsors of this site sells hinge repair kits. I plan on getting them for my car before i reassemble it. They're $75 for each door.
