button lights???

button lights???
ok i switched all my gauge lights to blue, but all my buttons glow orange and look really bad, does anybody know how to change the color of the lights in the buttons to blue? or to get them apart?

go to the junk yard, put as much stuff in socks that will fit, put pantleg down, take home and you have free "test" switches to try

he'll still let you walk with them for free, but next time, he'll cut you a break if you need a bigger part cheap.

if its like any of the other OEM switched ive taken apart, theres probly a red film inside there...
pull the film off and replace it with either a colored bulb, or the color film of your choice and you're set.

My whole family is auto mechanics, I grew up around car stuff from birth, those guys are usually %#%&^%# @##&*#$'s anyway, Ill save my honesty for friends and family

I'm going to vouch for the honesty thing too. I'm a regular at a yard in Pensacola. Last time I went I got a bunch of gauge stuff, sound deadening and metal plating for the 6x9s in the back, and a set of perfect IROC tail lights all for 30 bucks. ...and I've gotten for free. Assorted plugs and switches and stuff. Of course I guess it depends on where you go... but if you get on their good side, you could get some serious stuff for a cheap price ... especially at yards that don't keep inventory on computers... from what I've noticed at least.

ok ill be the only one to actually answer your question....but no i dont think you can change the color of the buttons themselfs. If someone has done it then cool let me see pics and tell us how but im guessing no!!!!
