Faided Plastic Front Inner Fenders
Has anyone ever tried that new Fusion paint on their plastic (vinyl?) flashing inside the front fenders on their third gen or any other car for that matter? Mine are faded and after I paint the car and repaint the rear inner fenders I wanted to paint or die the front plastic pieces to match the rear.
What have you guys done, any suggestions?

We found the Krylon fusion paint at Autozone not too long ago. I've also seen it at a few other places. I'm sure a paint store would have it too.

on my old 3rdgen, i used rattle can spray on rough texture truck bed liner stuff..
looked amazing.. and didnt get damaged by flying rocks and such like paint would. and it remained flexable.
id reccomend it.

well when i used to detail cars for shows, we used to just pour a little vegetable oil into a spray bottle filled with water and would mist it onto the fenderwalls. Made them look black and shiney for the shows. Never painted them, but it looked good for a while.

Did it ever peel off or did you ever have any other problems with it?

I was thinking about doing the same thing! I like the fact that it stays flexible and chip resistant.
