Rear Hatch Hurting Car!

My rear deck, the portion where the spoiler sits, is hitting on the inside of part of the drivers side rear quarter and tearing it up. I have searched on ways of shifting the back of the hatch deck over a little bit, but have not been able to find a clear example of how to do it. Does anyone know of how to do this. All the manuals I have do not show how to do this. I hope this was descriptive enough, I lack a digital camera.

Loosen the 4 bolts under the rear trim molding at the back of the headliner. Have 2 people support the glass, forcing it towards the pas.side, and tighten. This will give you SOME adjustment.---Dusty
