Black 16 Inch Formula Wheels

I WAS THINKIN
to paint my polished wheels ...just for fun
but ...i found this page and i didnt like it now..
but...its a taste thing..
maybe i would leave the "lip ring" polished.
NOT ALL BLACK BUT IT GIVES THE CAR A "NASCAR" LOOK

I like the all black look. I think it would look good with the silver lip as well....kinda like the crosslaced ones. Black rims look real good on red and black cars. Here's my friend's car with all black rims.

it does look good on that black car with the white lettering on the tires. if the red car had lettering i dont think it would look good still.

Agreed.....black car with black rims and white letters = awesome....red car with the same = ughh...

I think red cars look good with a black rim with the silver lip. Here's mine.

The previous owner bought it back in 2000 from Motion Performance. I don't think the hood is made any more..

I have a thread asking if anyone else has this hood.

i like the black wheel/chrome trim ring on new cadillacs, new mercedes...other high end cars....anything else and they just look cheap, but take my opinion lightly, i don't like knightrider cars either...or any 3rd gen birds or ta's for that matter...so my opinion probably isn't worth much (no offense to anyone with black wheels, t/a's or birds...just not the styling for me)

Good topic, I was thinking of doing the same thing like powder coating my formula rims black . I think that only looks good if the car is black though. Allthough the gta rims with the chrome lip are awesome looking !
