Well, the only time I've seen people take them out is for racing purposes therefore nothing takes their place, or for speakers, where a large box occupies the space.

I might pull mine out, and re-cover the carpet, so it doesn't seem as tho seats were ever there. Then I may make a platform so its all smooth, (in line with the hump).
Then it will just be a spot to throw my football and gym bag. And that will pretty much fill that space.

this IS the body and interior forum. I was gonna just fill mine with subs. Here's another question for anyone that's removed their rear seats. what did you do with those brackets that are spot welded to the floor pan right where you sit?

When I took my seats out, I filled the space with a custom box that flows from the floorboard to the hump. I used the brackets to bolt the box down, along with the holes that held the seatbelts.

I have mine folded down to protect them from school bags and instruments.

hahahahaha

I tired to take my back seats out before, but I kept having too many people jumping in back without the seats in there anyways, so I said screw it I'm not making a race car, and put the seats back in for the comfort of the ladies

i drove around with the back seats out of my trans am for a while and it didnt look that good, It had those stupid bumps where the seats attach and no carpet to cover them . the only way i would have them out is in a race car like car with a rollcage.
