Should I get a cage?

thinkin about getting a roll cage...they look impressive...and it would look good. What do you guys think? I know they have to be welded in....which isn't a big deal....but how hard is the installation? I know they are shipped by truck....how do they fit inside? I want a cage that will still keep my back seats accessable...

I have a 4pt cage. Nothing intrusive for the interior. Have not installed it yet, but I can tell you for sure, that if you want one, you are gonna have to give up your back seats. Almost 100% sure on that one, unless you make some sort of fake one, or just use the one roll bar with no cross beam...

I just thought it would be nice to make my car a little stiffer. I don't race....and I've never been to the track....but I can see the stress lines starting to get in the top of my sail panels....starting to crack..just a hair. I just wish I could get one without having to give up my back seats.....

are "bolt in" roll cages available?

thats not fully true. My cage is really really heavey duty and the passengers rear seat is 100% accesable. Behind the driver.....you can sit there but it gets a little tight. My cage was also custom built for the car though. http://www.fforce.newbedfordwebs.com/project1.php you can find some pics of it there on my web page. It made a hueg difference over a stock car because it is welded into the chasis and subframe connectors at many points. I say if you want to spend the money you can not beat a custom bent cage.
