leave or change?
You didn't say much about the car, so I assume you mean the '85 you have listed in your sig. If that's correct, and you mean the lower body stripes, then you have the same problem I came across a few years ago with my '86 bird. At that time, nobody made the stripes. Not GM, not Pheonix Graphics - nobody. At least not anybody that I could find. My local autobody shop didn't have them either.
Honestly, the cars look really good without them - just a solid paint job will look awesome. In fact, removing the body side moulding looks really good too, but you have to be more careful about where you park
A couple of options for the stripes if you really want 'em:
1. Paint them on. It's a little extra work, but should look really good.
2. You can buy decals that may sort of match. Check with your favorite autobody supply shop.
Ultimately, I went with the simple solution and left the stipes off. I'm pretty happy with it.
Oh yeah, one other thing. I happen to have a partial set of original GM stipes. They're not doing me any good so your welcome to them. They're old though, and I'm not guarenteeing anything. Let me know if you want them.
