I just purchased a ram air airbox that goes with the Ram Air II hood and I'm kinda lost on how to install this thing. I realize the MAF is supposed to go behind the airbox and then the rubber boot, and then the throttle body. However, the airbox and the MAF are the same size and both made of hard plastic so neither would fit into the other. I guess I'll have to get some rubber hosing to connect the two and fab something up with it.

I wanted to know if anyone else has done this before and what do they recommend doing? I may just go to home depot and bring my MAF with me so I can size up the hose and clamps for them. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

I'm about to have the same problem you are....As soon as my airbox comes in- I'll need to know what you did to fix the MAF problem? BTW how does your hood fit?
