has anyone put gfx on a non gfx car

has anyone put gfx on a non gfx car

was thinking of doing this or should I leave it alone kind of like the rareity of no gfx plus it doesnt look as fast

I just did it on my 89 Formula, what do you need to know about it?

Engine: 305 TBI with alot of mods
Transmission: 700R4 B&M shift kit
youll need that metal strip for the rockers, The GFX, screws and alot of time to make the body lines line up. You will also have to drill into the doors and bumper covers. so make sure you want them on there. unless you use some sort of tape for mounting them but i dont think any tape will hold them on at highway speeds.

You don't have to drill anything for the bumper covers, you have to drill 5 holes in each fender, 5 holes in each door, and 4 in each quarter. Also, you'll want to spot weld the brackets on for the rockers, you'll be happier in the long run than if you just screw them on. If you need any help with any of it let me know, I just did it about a month ago and its not too awful hard. I was freaking about doing it, but when you actually do it, its much easier than it seems.
