Put on new door edge...what do you think?

Well...I looked around at my car today...and noticed a had a few chips along the door edge...probably from stupid people at shops that don't care when they open your doors and hit sh*t...no respect. Anyhow...I went ahead and put on black door edge. It hides the chips completely and it's really not even noticable...since my car is black. Anyhow..what do you think?

I have the same thing... black car with the black door guards. At first I thought they were a little awkward, but they have since grown on me. I'll probably take them off when I get new paint though. The horizontal door guard looks fine to me, but I don't like the vertical line there.

I haven't had the car out of the garage yet to see what it actually looks like outside. I'll pull it out today.....but I can almost guarentee I'll keep them on...because like I said....I'd rather see the guards than ugly little chips......plus since the car is black....can't really even notice'em. If people would open doors with respect...I would have never had to get'em.....

As much as I hate those things, I think you're justified in putting them on. Fortunately the car is black and they'll be very discreet.

The store is not a problem, its the dorm parking lot that is! Gotta run the door guards...

My '83 has them.. Looks like they were put on way back in 1983 because the paint under them is perfect...
