this is what i did i use to have a console with a clock in it 82 model i guess...but anyhow i was taking out my console and found out that the clock is just sitting in there with a bottom casing supporting it so i took the clock part out and used the casing as my cup holder sprayd it with some black krylon and works like a charm...will get some pics soon i hope

When the paintjob is done I am gonna try and rig up some cupholders from a Toyota Camry.

They slide into the dash, and you pull it out and little trays spring out to hold the cup.

If/when I get to it, I will post pictures.

My main issue is shifting, I like resting my arm on the jockey box and shift from there, I would rather not be hitting a with my lower arm. Or punching cans when I throw it into 4th.

I could shifter gentler, but meh. For now I still gotta blow up this 700r4 before I can put a t56 in.

Where are all 4 cupholders on the 4th gen consoles though?

canned beer sucks.

btw, my car NEEDS a cupholder too..

its become increasingly obvious these past few weeks... i have a friend who works at a store down the road... since he cant leave during lunch, i usually end up picking up somthing for him..... 1 drink with a manual trans in a 3rdgen is annoying.... two LARGE drinks are a total pain.

and my pants get wet from the condensation.

Ohh har-dee-har har funny guy
It is actually legal to drive and I've put 1000mi on the motor (finally). I'm geting closer to relocating the car and working on it again but, that's another story for a different thread.

After awhile... you never know the difference. I don't drink beer just for it's taste alone anyways

I have a cup holder that is 1" tall, about 8" wide, and sits flush in the dash from a 95 Nissan Altima. I'm going to cut a hole in my dash and mount it as soon as I get the ***** to do it!

who needs a cup holder?
Drinks fit perfectly between my hip and seat belt. Done this for 9 years and only spilt a few times when I hopped out of the car, forgeting they were there.

Since the sides of my console are coming apart anyways, I just got one of those window mount cup holders and cut the hook (?) off of it. Then I just screwed it in the passenger side of the console.

Hmmm I wonder what all the hub bub is about. Every car made comes with cup holders. GM ford or import from 1920-2004 all came with a cup holder.

The next time your in your car look straight down and you will see it.

Right between your legs
