firebird hood

Anyone have a hood for a 1988 firebird? Mine is dented up and was told that if i put bondo on it, the bondo will just crack because the hood flexes, is that true?

Depending on how big the dent is, I don't see a problem in using plastic filler. Now, large thick coats of it would crack, but small thin skim coats won't. Btw, I have a hood from my '91 for sale. Has a ding or two (no bigger then a dime and shallow) and needs paint(rock chips) but no rust. Pm me about it.
