Car: 1992 Camaro RS - not real slow anymore...
Engine: SPDC 360 MAF EFI /w a Holley Stealth Ram
Transmission: T5 untill it blows up from to much torque
Axle/Gears: Ford 9" /w auburn pro & 3.89's
Wheel well progress(RUST)

Thought I'de share some pictures of my wheel well progress. Next steps I'm gonna do is zinc coat them and semi-gloss black por15 them. Also, for those of you who do not remember my previous posts, i had bad bad bad bad bad rust holes all over.

In pictures #1 and #2, I didn't grind down the welds yet. AND, IN PIC 3, THE CAMERA MAKE'S IT LOOK LIKE ****. IT DOESNT ACTUALLY LOOK BAD IN REAL LIFE, I CAN ASSURE YOU ITS SMOOTH.

Do you have a link to your old post or any before pictures handy?? Ive gotta do the exact same thing to my car this year but I went and cut a whole wheel well out of a donor car last fall.

Looks like it turned out pretty good, I had to do something similar to my car this summer. I coated the inside and outside with rust preventative paint (I don't remember the name, it's red and eastwood sells it), and then I redid all the undercoating in the wheel wells. Looks much better, and I can rest easy knowing my car isn't rotting away right under my eyes

Make sure you check the seam between where the quarter panel meets the wheel well too. I had really bad rust and rott all through there too

Ya, my wheel well seem was really rusted out and corroded. So i broke out the torch:rockon: and burned most of it out. This made it easier when i was wire wheeling it. lol im gonna buy 3m seam sealer for that.
