How to mount clutch start switch

Im starting to do my 700R4 to T56 tranny swap...and im about to mount the pedals. I have a 92 Camaro. A friend of mine gave me some clutch pedals awhile back from a early 80s firebird. They mount and everything....but the problem Im having is how to mount the clutch start switch. Heres the problem....there is a hole where the cruise control clutch switch goes. Looking at my shop manual...somehow the clutch start switch mounts behind the clutch pedal...but on my pedals theres no way to mount it that i can see...does it mount to the dash somewhere?

Can someone please post photos or something?

Second....is it possible that maybe these pedals just wont work with my setup? I know there are a couple different versions. The weird thing is that it looks like there was a bit of welding and cutting on the pedals...dont know if they are all like this though. I would post pictures but my brother has the digital camera. It has the arms and such that the ubolt for the clutch cylinder go through....and everything on the pedal connects right.

Any help would be appreciated thanks.

I would guess, by looking at his stats under his avatar, that it's from his 91. But I could be wrong.

doh didnt even notice that.

From what Ive seen...the clutch switches on the later styles had a rectangular button that was mounted on the back of the clutch pedal........then theres a cylinder one mounted in the front (in a hole like the one picture above) but that was the cruise control clutch switch. I think im missing something. Like i said, i have the whole in front of the pedal...but i dont see anything to mount a switch behind the pedal. By the way...the pedals are out of the car.
