Harwood cowl seal

What are you guys doing about the rear cowl seal if you install a glass hood? Did you just drill holes in the hood and put the stock one back on or what?

Leave the rear cowl seal off it lets some of the engine compartment heat a place to escape.

That's what the cowl hood is for. I want to keep the seal.

The Cowl Hood is for the air to come around and in to the Open air filter to get more air in. It will also let more air out as in heat. I would and have left the seal off as you will find many members have.

The seal is staying. So what have others done to put it back on? I'm thinking just drill new holes.

ok ok Go get some super strength Emblem Glue or Something to that effect, and put it on, I wouldn't drill holes because sometimes like on the cowl hood I had I installed Zuse fastners and it alawys got little Stress Crack leading form the hole.

I would mount it to the cowl of the car before I put it on the hood.

If it`s a bolt on hood you can drill the holes...the seal has push on clips like a door panel
