putting a new autometer fuel level gauge in cluster.

I called autometer and he thinks I need the 4314 or 0-90ohm gm gauge for my 89 iroc-z. Can anyone who has put a new fuel level gauge say this is correct? I'am putting all new ultra lite gauges in including a 200mph electric gauge to work with my 6-speed.
