new car progress pics
as most of you all know i have painted my car recently with acrylic enamel but lets just say the results werent all that wonderful and i have a new job where i get DUPONT paint products at cost and i decided to redo it going with a bc/cc system and i think the results speak for themselves. i still have to replace the doors as mine are not in the best shape and still have to reshoot the rear deck because the dew set in on it and ive been fighting the rain going through mississippi and also have to shoot the lower gfx and the t-bar but all in all i think im coming along pretty well. also youll notice i done a headlight mod to my car also lemme know what you think.

i actually made/grafted that scoop on a stock flat firebird hood. im not sure why the hood adjustment is like that on pass side ive tried everything i know to try and get it lined up but nothing worked. the headlight mod well lets see 2 pieces of 1x1 tubular steel welded together then welded to frame behind the bumper then just mounted the light to the steel then used a headlight kit and a relay to get all 4 light on when high beams are activated. kinda backyard and not as custom or professional as i would have liked to do it but it works very well for me.

The paint looks good, but I don't like the hood. It looks all bent and wavy around the scoop. A+ for effort though. I still like the stock power buldge hood the best. But I'm a little partial. As for the headlight mod I'm undecided. Good job on the paint.
