SS Hood Vs Big Block Hood

'85 Z28, old hood has big rust spot under the bra where it was obviously never taken off and dried or what not. So instead of fixing i want new.

I like the SS hood a lot. But the Big block hood seems to have that little bit more of "styling" (for lack of a better word) to it.

Is the cowl on the Big block hood 2", or 4" ??? From the pics i've seen it looks like its 4"

I know there is only like 8 people on the board who have the hood. But there has to be more than that who know more about the dimensions.

Could not tell you about the BB hood, but the SS hood has about a 2 inch cowl. I may be biased, but the SS hood looks soooo much better. The cowl on my hood does not go straight back like the BB hood. It is more of a V, if that makes any sense.

I say go with the SS hood. You will like it much better once you see it in paint on your car. I know a couple of guys who got the BB hood, and once it was painted, they wished they went with the SS hood.

BB hood looks better IMO, I think it was about 2-3 inches
