Cyberdyne Gauges Digital

Anyone using and of the Cyberdyne Digital gauges? I plan on buying a trans oil gauge for 39 plus 15 for the sender. Sounds pretty cheap are they good?

Not sure about the quality, but they look primitive with those big blocky LED's. IMHO. It would be nice if they would update those things.

I could not seem to find any other Digital Gauges around. Autometer don't have any other then the Fuel Pressure one in digital. Dakota I don't see them listed anywhere on jegs or summit. Have they stopped making them?

Anyone know of any other digital gauges??

I totally re-did the dash on an 86 Suburban using the Nordskog digital guages. I preferred them because the tach and speedo have a circumference led setup similar to a standard speedo plus showed the digital value in the center. I used their create-a-dash kit I got from Summit for around $400. I mounted all their boards to a standard instrument back panel and then put the smoked cover over that and put it all under a stock bezel. Looked factory original. When the key was off it was all black. When the key was on it all came to life. The kit included all the necessary senders. My kit had tach, speedo, oil pressure, water temp, fuel guage, voltage. Then I added a stoich meter, trans temp (700R4), and fuel pressure guage (used a Holley Commander 950 system to put EFI on the GMpp 454HO I put in that truck) in a small 3 instrument add-on cluster over the hump. A pic is attached.

I liked their setup much more than the Dakota Digital, and have remotely considered doing the same thing to my 91 Formula.

Have a Great Day!!!
