Removed Radio.
Removed Emissions Equipment....Removed A/C....Newly Painted Engine And pullys....car originally had 305 tpi....original tranny and rear in car, Red cloth interior is good condition...all gauges work exept fuel and that happens to alot of camaros....all emblems are there. everything, car just needs to start and paint....stock wheels with brand new futura tires....everything is properly installed....just want to get rid of the project and get a new car....engine ran strong before small carb fire...no posi, open diff...stock 323 gears...t tops...119000 miles on body and tranny and bout 45000 on engine....power steering and power brakes with discs in front and drums on back...solid car, can be an easy project if u dont want to go full resto like alot of projects are....no dents or dings....dual crome exhaust tips power windows and locks and power hatch....all interior lights work...come with car cover.

I'd say the price would go up and you'd get more interest if you get the thing running. If it's really that close to running and it just needs a starter, it would be more than worth it monetarily to replace it and have it running. Otherwise, a buyer won't know what problems they'd be getting themselves into and won't offer much for it.

sorry to say friend but your car is just that..... not running. I personally would not pay more than a grand for a car that wasnt running. I understand that you put all this money in it BUT that doesnt change the fact it doesnt run. Go spend 50 on a starter and get it running. Then mabey 2k

Not just no but, HELL no. 2K....I paid $1200 for a 91 formula (1LE) 350 TPI that runs like a raped ape and looked good, just needed a fender.

Non running, butchered (as in converted from TPI which is desireable, to a carb) fair interior, no way to know if transand other parts are ok , no paint....$500 tops..but you know what they say; "there's a sucker born every minute".

If you don't want to spend the time making it a running car, just sell off the parts, you'll likely get more than $500 for them if sold individually.

if its not running its worth about $500, if you get it running and get a good paint job then $2000 is easy attainable.

now heres the sad part, a good paint job will cost over $2000 so your already out over $ 2700 (paint and parts)

my advice to you is get a nice paint job, get it running and then you have a nice z28 with a 350 in it thats no longer a project car.

wish i could help ya out more man but sadly without it running and it being in primer, no one will pay more then $600

if you're just looking to cash out for as much as possible right now, I'd say the most profitable means is parting it out. Sell all that you can individually and then sell the frame with whatever is left and you'll still get a few hundred for that. If you get it running, I'm not sure if getting a cheap paintjob would be a profitable move or not.

To your average consumer

It's an 19 year old car that doesn't have original engine, has no paint on the exterior and doesn't even run

$600 tops (as mentioned)

Now with Maaco and some cheap parts to get it running, maybe $1,500

dime a dozen up here. i bought my 86 in stock condition, PERFECT in everyway. the carpet had a stain on it. it had the orginal floor mats and everything worked. i couldn't have asked for a better car. the guy actually drove it from california to NH because he just relocated because of his job. i was passing by and saw him putting a for sale sign under the wiper, pulled over and asked the price.... 1500 he says. i wrote him a check right there and drove it home the next day. deals come and go but this was the best deal i'll ever get. lol the GTA for 1000 came close but still didn't beat this.

back to the topic at hand, i would get the car running and forget the paint. nothing wrong with primer. leaves the buyer open to paint it his desired color. ask 2k or best i'd say. you won't sell it to someone whos looking to drive it away, or even the highschool kid looking for a car. with a car like that you'll attract people like me who like to build it to their standards and can see past the minor things about it. but definetly, get it running before sale.
