Firebird Noses

Hi! I used to own a 1985 camaro with a 2.8, now I have moved onto a 1986 Firebird with a 2.8. I am just curious what is required to do to put an 82-84 nose on the car, or if I can put a 91-92 nose on the car, because the one on there now has a small crack in it.

For an 82-84 you may need to get the honeycomb under the nose and thats it...you may not even have to. For 91-92 I believe you do and to make it easier you may need the metal impact bar since they're slightly different. Also your headlights will not clear the bumper of a 91-92 so you'd need to either grind off the lip of the bezel or get 91-92 bezels.

The headlight bezels are different on the 85-90 nose.

They sweep up at the edge toward the fender, when viewed from the front, trust me, I've checked into this. But that easy, as the 82-84 bezels will mount right to your 86 headlight assembly.

That same area on the 82-84 bezel, is more squared off, when viewed from the front.
