89 camaro fender problem
ok guys first of all i would liek to know if this is a good deal. I bought an 89 Camaro Rs V8 5.0. 165,000 miles clean interior good engine tranny, etc. only prob is body. the passenger side was hit and all dents were removed except the fender wasnt pulled out all the way so the driver side of the front end is higher than the passenger side front end not that much of a difference except it looks crooked... and the upper left corner of the hood doesnt quite close down all the way... The passenger door hits right fender when opened.... I was told all that was required is that the passenger side fender be pulled out more and that it would all straighten out....does this sound true and is going to be expensive? thnx for any help. o yeah and is it a good buy? ha snice paint with silver ralley stripes few scratches .

I would look and see if there is frame damage.
If the frame is bent in any way then you got a bad deal. If not, then you probably came out pretty good. All you really need to do is get in there with what i believe to be a 10mm and start loosening the fenders and then shifting them untill everything lines up better.
Easier if you use two people, cause sometimes you need a little force to hold the fender in the proper position while someone else tightens the bolts.
