Outer window weatherstrips/felts?

Rubber strips on outside of windows right at the bottom, cracked and hard, look bad. See Soffseal 3138 and Metromould lm22c listed. Soffseal listing says the same moldings fit S10 trucks and many others, WTF, can't be. Can't find a picture of either one anywhere. Any one replaced yours with either of these? Results?
Note Autozone has the Metromould for thirty bucks cheaper than Advance. Something strange there.

I looked at the soff seal and went with OEM. The soff seal were different and although they looked like good quality, I decided to buy OEM. Changing them is easy, but time consuming.

Pull off the door panel, then loosen the bolts holding the inner fuzzies up against the window. Pull them back, then you can tip the window in. Remove the triangle at the front of the door, then remove the bolts holding the fuzzy strip in. You'll need a wrench to do the ones that are obstructed by the glass. Replacement is the opposite of removal (obviously).

I bought a practically perfect one for like $3 at the junkyard from a near mint but wrecked late 80's bird =) Still haven't put it on though...its pretty time consuming, I would of pulled both, but the yard closed =/

Do whatever you can to avoid the outer windlace (belt w'strip, etc. on the name) from JCWhitney...
