The Past few days I have tackled the Front Bumper Cover and started getting the car ready for paint...

I have removed the bumper cover and ran into a few problems with that:
1) Headlight Mounting Bracket was broken
2) Mounting Tabs Missing/broken/non reusable that clip onto the bumper cover on the sides to allow it to bolt into the fender

remidies:
1) covered the broken part with some fiberglass and its pretty strong now
2) a firend of mine fabricated some new brackets out of sheetmetal

ok the next issue i have had is inreguards to stripping paint and what not...

i bought the aerosol paint stripper...works pretty good...BUT leaver 100000000 paint chips all over the place...and ideas on how to remove the paint without the problem? my pops threw a fit and i spend abotu an hour+ cleaning some up but they got all over the driveway and yard...so itll prolyl be awhile before they are all cleanedup....

i mean my paint is in "ok" shape, but in parts the paint has flaked off and what not as it was repainted at sometime in its life and tehy must have used cheep paint or soemthing, becuase this paint chips alot on the hood, rear deack, and spoilers....now could i jsut use some clear coat/wax remover and then jsut sand the spots that look/feel rough and prime those? or would i be better off with teh extra elbow greese and going down to the metal?
